The Swift. French style with Mountain View

Jonathan Swift imagined seeing a giant reposing in the Belfast Hills, and you can see the Divis and Black Mountain from this window. A soft and light room in blue and white toile de Jouy, it is a quiet room set at the top of the house.

The Seamus Heaney. A room with character and rich design.

Here we give a nod to Bellaghy, the home of the Heaney family. Tweed and leather cushions reference the traditional farmer's jackets. Seamus Heaney's works of poetry and prose are available to read on the shelves. Plates on the wall and a crystal lamp in the room with some Irish lace and an antique typewriter lend to the theme. The Percy French. Fun interiors with a sense of humour

Percy French was delayed 12 hours on the west Clare railway line and wrote a comedy song about it. He missed the gig he was going to, by which time the crowd had all gone home. The song was a hit all over Ireland and Britain at the time. The disgraced railway company took him for libel, and he won the case based on the railway, making him late for court.

The Petit Booboir. Fashion Forward Style

The Petit Booboir lends a bit of punk baroque with leopard black walls and Grainne Mahers specially designed textiles, lampshades and wallpaper. The feel is very Steam Punk, and the room is quiet, being right on the top floor and mountain facing.

Belfast is becoming known as a movie location and the film Zoo centred on Denise Austin an eccentric but warm hearted charachter who rescued a baby elephant during the Belfast Blitz. Animal themed interiors.

Anthony Trollope. For book worms and story lovers

The Double bed is great for single travellers or couples and the french fabrics make for a stylish interior. Antony Trollope was a writer in Victorian times and wrote his first novel while working as a post master in Belfast. he invented the post box and there is a blue plaque dedicated to Trollope in custom house square, Belfast
