Day One:  Culture and Creativity in The Queens Quarter

Ulster Museum

Queen's University

Stroll through the picturesque, leafy Queen's University campus. The Lanyon building was built in 1849 and is visually stunning. The Naughton Gallery, the Welcome Centre and the Great Hall can all be visited free of charge.

Botanic Gardens

Take a leisurely walk through the stunning Botanic Gardens, a haven of tranquility and vibrant floral colour. Visit Tropical Ravine and marvel at exotic flora. The Victorian Palmhouse had the first curved glass in UK and Kew Gardens copied the design.

Danny Millar buys his produce fresh from the stalls and cooks it in his open kitchen. People watch from the balcony which looks down onto the bustling market.


Titanic Museum
