Comedy Clubs Near The Harrison

There's a whole new comedy scene in Belfast and luckily for us, most are a stone's throw away from the Harrison so it’s very easy to catch a few mid-week laughs that tickle your fancy while you stay with us.

Here's what's new on the block for this year!

Laverys Comedy Club

Colin Geddis has created perhaps the funniest comedy night in Belfast. The venue Laverys Bar, made the headlines when surprise guest Kevin Hart appeared to an unsuspecting crowd one evening this year. It’s an intimate atmosphere with top-quality performers.

The Empire Laughs Back Comedy Club

The Empire Laughs Back Comedy Club is the longest-running comedy night hosted by Colin Murphy or Jake O'Kane. Local talent mixed with UK and international acts makes it works nicely in an old converted church. The show kicks off at 9 pm.

The Accidental Theatre Improv Comedy Club

Every Sunday, a range of Belfast performers take to the stage at Accidental to perform engaging comedy routines. After taking an audience suggestion, improvisers perform a series of sketches on the spot from 8 pm.

Queens Comedy Club

In the past now-famous comedians such as Peter Kay, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Sarah Millican, Ed Byrne, and Jason Byrne played on stage here. Comedy gigs are happening all the time. Subscribe to the website to keep abreast of what's coming up

Banana Block Comedy Club

Over in east Belfast a night of great comedy compered by one of Northern Ireland’s best comedians, the fantastic William Thompson. On the first Thursday of each month, each ticket will include an Irish cheese plate curated by Indie Füde and a beer from Bulhouse Brew Co. Cheese, beer and a lot of laughs.
